For some lucky women, keeping track of time comes naturally. They are always prompt, even early for appointments. They seem to have an alarm clock programmed into their brain, while others are chronically late.
These chronically late women can remember an appointment one minute, walk out of the kitchen or office and then totally forget the appointment. It’s scary for some of us!
Having presented time management seminars, I know there are a lot of women out there just like that. If you’re one of them who’s chronically late or forgets appointments altogether, I have an inexpensive easy solution that works. Set the task manager or calendar reminder with an alarm or the alarm clock on your smartphone.
Here’s help for the Chronically Late
When you are sitting down in the early morning (HA, how many of you sit down in the morning?) or maybe when you sit down at night for a bit, take out your calendar and check your schedule. If you have an important meeting or appointment you will need to be reminded of, simply set the alarm (or task manager) for the time you will need to head out. Maybe set it for when you need to start getting ready if you have to dress up or put on make-up.
When my son was a teenager, his alarm often went off when I needed to be somewhere. It was a lifesaver!!! Now I have my iPhone and it reminds me. You have so many options now, there’s not many excuses for being late.
Sit down right now and set your task manager or calendar notifications for two tasks that you have to do each week and let us know how it goes.
