Susie’s Mini Book Reviews:
SELF-IMPROVEMENT, TIME MANAGEMENT, ORGANIZATION
These are some of my favorite busy woman books. I have read most of these books at a different times in my life. Each one encouraged, supported, helped, or taught me something valuable.
I’m reading Seven Laws of the Learner again. The author is blunt honest in describing what it takes to be a teacher, the responsibility required, and how to truly teach, not just put out information. Teaching is not a calling for the faint at heart or self servers. It is for those called to service. If you want to be the teacher God called you to be, read this book!
In the book “How to master the art of selling” Tom Hopkins talks about “Developing the thank you note habit”. This book has been used for more than 20 years in every sales profession. Early in his career, Tom sent out 10 Thank You Notes a day. Within 2 years 100% of his business came from referrals.
This book contains 100 articles that provide insight, inspiration, and instruction for those who communicate God’s truth at school, home, church, or in the workplace. Edited by bestselling author Bruce Wilkinson, this is your resource for making a life-changing impact on your students.
Absolutely! Create a Routine to Keep Your Sanity in a Crazy World – Time Management simplified! I wrote this book based on over 30 years of experience. Short, sweet, and to the point practical tips and solutions you can put into practice right away. Also includes a link to TWO FREE planner pages I used to get into a routine.
I don’t get to read for enjoyment very often, but I really enjoyed reading this book. I purchased this after joining a bible study and lost myself in the story of the author. A book of hope, strength, and unfailing love.
I have this book in my book arsenal and actually read it. It’s perfect for helping anyone build a God focused business. There were stories and examples as well as actual solutions and step by step instructions. It was an easy read.
I’ll add more mini-reviews as I have time. I personally own and/or have read each of these books.
