Grow Your Own Food and Generator
I’ve dabbled a little with homesteading over the years. Now that we’ve moved away from our 10 acres of slightly rural property, I needed to get back to growing my own veggies and fruit in a home that’s in a standard neighborhood. Everyone gets power outages now and again and I’m happy to say that we are prepared for when it happens again.
This page is a work in progress until I complete some of my blog posts and updates. In the meantime, enjoy the links to some of my favorite things.
Homesteading products I personally use and approve of.
Tower GardensGrow healthy food in your home or yard. I wanted to grow my own food indoors for many, many years. And let me tell you…something happens when you grow your own food. Planting the seeds and seeing them grow right before your eyes is an awesome sight. Watching new produce show up before your very eyes and knowing you were a part of it’s growth is SO rewarding! Right now I’m growing items that are not necessarily in season. Yet, my plants are flourishing. There are two sizes to choose from, a 13 gallon Home tower that is narrower and a little more decorative, and a 20 gallon Flex tower garden that was initially created for outdoor use but many of us use it inside the home. Join me on your own journey to growing vegetables, fruits, and even flowers inside your home or out in the yard. If you order or have questions, please contact me. I have useful tips you’re going to want to hear. Click here to order, or for more product information. |

JackeryDo you camp or have seasonal power outages? We lost power for more than 4 hours one day and this little ditty allowed me to toast bread and charge my laptops. If the power was out any longer, I would have plugged the refrigerator into it. What a great and extremely portable generator! We got the Jackery Solar Generator 1000 (Jackery 1000 + 2 x SolarSaga 100W) and just added the Explorer Generator 2000 bundle. They had one of their huge sales that was too good to pass up.
