Have you ever been at the end of your rope, exhausted, wondering what you are doing on this planet? Then you receive an encouraging word and all is well. I recently received a note from a customer sharing how she felt about my customer service, patience, and kindness and all was well in the universe.
While I was raising children and running a company, I sometimes felt over worked, underpaid, and like I didn’t serve a purpose. Then someone came along and wrote me an encouraging note to let me know how much I mean to them. All of a sudden my life made sense.
Has there been a company who went above and beyond the call of duty to help you? Or maybe a friend or family member stepped in just when you needed it. A hand written note is almost sacred these days. I still have one on my shelf, from a customer, because it was a hand made, hand stamped card with a beautiful note of thanks inside.
All It Takes Is An Encouraging Word
When was the last time you wrote a kind message on a piece of paper and left it for your spouse, child, mother, or father? When was the last time you sent a note to a friend? We used to purchase cards at the store, but when my mom received cards I made myself or that my children made for her, it stayed in the house forever! Now, I use Send Out Cards and put photos with a personal loving messages inside and you’ll see them if you go to moms house.
Speaking an encouraging word to another can make a difficult day better. It may seem like nothing to you, but it might mean the world to them. How we use our words can be a blessing or curse. Choose your words wisely. People remember the words that affect them.
How about smiling at people throughout your day? Maybe tell someone if they are wearing a nice outfit. Who do you think might need an encouraging word from you? Send them a note today, then let us know how it goes!

I so appreciate good customer service that I always make a point to ask for the manager and compliment good helpers, or write an email to corporate to say so. This was especially important when I was out with my twin toddlers and 4yo son, anytime anyone gave me good service I was so happy!
Such a great message! Thanks!!!!
