Investing Time - Week 1

I'll bet when you invest money, you don't expect to lose money. Instead, you invest money looking for it to grow and give you back more.

The same principle can be applied to investing time. There are so many things that we can do as an investment that will save us time in the long run.

Take making a menu for instance. Most women know what it's like to stand in front of a refrigerator at 5:30 with a hungry family and not have a clue about what to serve. And every woman knows that there is no such thing as a 5 minute trip to the store for a few ingredients.

The most common reason women resist making menus is that it takes too much time. But, if you add up all the time spent standing in front of the refrigerator or running to the store for a few items, you will come up with a lot more time than one trip to the store buying what you need for a weeks worth of meals.

Another great way to invest time using your menu is to buy and cook double batches and then freeze entire meals. You can cut your cooking in half this way and still feed your family home cooked meals.
